BLFC Round 22 - The Crows II

Another extremely tight finish against a team battling for a position in the top 8 FINALLY sees the Brisbane Lions grab 2nd position on the ladder just in time for a huge match against Collingwood This Friday.
JB and Patrick take a look at The Round 22 clash against The Crows and how the forward structure will look for the next few weeks after a season ending injury to Jack Gunston. Some patchy form over the last month leads to a discussion as to whether we are running out of form and fitness leading into September or if this is a blessing in disguise with some much needed practice against the best teams in the comp. Well another edition of "just when you thought you could trust The Brisbane Lions" another top 3 chance slips through our fingers with a disappointing performance against our little brothers down the M1. B and Patrick discuss how the Suns simply outplayed, outworked and outcoached Brisbane for 4 quarters of footy and vent their frustrations... again
A red hot Freo await at Optus Stadium next Sunday - let's hope The Lions pull their finger out and give us all some hope again.

BLFC Round 19 - The Cats

A week is a long time in footy as they say and suddenly the woes of last week's game against The Dees are a distant memory. JB and Patrick discuss a nice win against The Cats built upon midfield dominance and strong defensive structures with only one disappointment to come from the game in the form of Will Ashcroft's injury.
Who will take his place in the starting 22 or will it be left to a few blokes to lift and cover the huge hole that a 19 year old kid has left in the squad?
